On Monday, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation headed by Chairman of Kazakh Parliament's Senate Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, Trend reports.
Chairman of the Senate conveyed greetings and best wishes of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to Aliyev.
Speaking about the VII UN Global Alliance of Civilizations Forum, the guest emphasized that the idea and the purpose of this forum are of great importance during the current crisis, and noted the importance of holding such event of the UN in Baku.
The President noted that the conduction of this forum in Baku was the result of evaluation of activity of Azerbaijan in the framework of dialogue between civilizations.
