Azerbaijan`s Milli Majlis and Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg have signed a protocol as chairman of Azerbaijan`s parliament Ogtay Asadov and head of Saint Petersburg Legislative Assembly Vyacheslav Makarov met in Baku.
“The protocol marks the beginning of our relations with Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg,” said Asadov. “Presently we have trade and economic relations with 70 federal subjects of Russia. Bilateral documents have been signed with 20 Russian federal subjects,” he added, News.az reported citing AzerTag.
Makarov said Russia and Azerbaijan share common views on regional problems.
