Azerbaijan's Silk Way Airlines and the freight subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines, MASkargo, have signed a memorandum of cooperation, which covers cargo-space agreements, ground-handling, and line maintenance.
The agreement will also allow the airlines to have access to each other’s capacity across their respective global networks. The cooperation will create conditions for the development of Kuala Lumpur and Baku airports into regional transit hubs.
"The signing of the Memorandum will enhance each other’s network and meet their market needs," abc.az cited the Malaysian cargo firm's CEO Mohd Yunus Idris as saying.
