Azerbaijani acrobats take "silver" and "bronze" at World Championship in Baku

In today's finals of the Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships, held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Azerbaijani acrobats took two medals.

Aghasif Rahimov and Raziya Seyidli took second place in the final of the mixed doubles with tempo exercise. They received 28.64 points from the jury. The first place went to a couple from Belgium, the British acrobats were the third.

In turn, Daniel Abbasov and Murad Rafiev took the second "bronze" at the championship thanks to 27.5 points in the final of the tempo exercise. Azerbaijani acrobats lost only to couples from the USA and Kazakhstan.

They had previously taken third place in the all-around finals.

Tomorrow both Azerbaijani couples will compete for medals in the balance exercises' finals.
