Azerbaijani amphibious aircraft flies to Turkey to extinguish forest fires

An Azerbaijani amphibious aircraft flew to Turkey to help put out large forest fires raging in Mugla province. This is reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan. 

In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the amphibious aircraft BE-200ÇS with a crew of 10 people on board took off in the direction of Dalaman Airport.

Today it will start putting out fires.

Let us remind you that such an aircraft can, without stopping over water, collect about 12 tons of water in 18-20 seconds.
