Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers will hold talks on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session in New York in September, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Hikmat Hajiyev said.
"An agreement was reached on a ministerial meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session . The possibility of another meeting before this one is currently being considered," the spokesman said.
The first meeting of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Foreign Minister of Armenia Zograb Mnatsakanyan was held in Brussels on July 11. The meeting took place with the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs (Igor Popov of Russia, Stefan Visconti of France and Andrew Schofer of the US).
