The Azerbaijani State Security Service and the Georgian State Security Service have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Baku.
The MoU was signed by the chairman of Azerbaijan State Security Service, Madat Guliyev, and the head of the Georgian State Security Service, Vakhtang Gomelauri.
Addressing the signing ceremony, Guliyev noted “friendly” relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia expanded thanks to mutual efforts of the two countries' presidents, Ilham Aliyev and Giorgi Margvelashvili. “This also contributes to the development of ties between our security authorities,” APA cited him as saying.
Gomelauri expressed his confidence that the visit would contribute to expanding partnership between security services of Georgia and Azerbaijan.
