Azerbaijani athlete Zhalya Aliyeva made it to the next round of wrestling competitions at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games. She defeated Uzbek athlete Lailohon Sobirova ahead of schedule.
The 5th Islamic Solidarity Games are taking place in Turkish Konya. They will last until August 18.
To date, the Azerbaijani team has 35 medals and is 5th in the overall standings after Turkey, Iran, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
