Azerbaijani athlete wins in triathlon at First European Games

At the First European Games in Baku the triathlon competitions have finished.  Gordon Benson from Great Britain, who reached the finish of 1:48:31, became champion. The silver medalist of the first European Games became the Portuguese athlete Joao Silva, who was 9 seconds behind the champion.

The Azerbaijani athlete Rostislav Pevtsov won bronze, reaching the finish line at 1:49:04.

The Russian athlete Alexander Bryuhanov finished seventh with a time of 1:49:42. Jonas Schomburg from Turkey is also worth noting, who came sixth with a final result of 1:49:34.
