Azerbaijani boxer becomes European champion

Azerbaijani boxer Nijat Huseynov won the title of European champion, according to the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation.

He won this title at the continental championship among boxers under 22 in the Croatian city of Poreč.

The prize-winner of the World and European championships in the 51 kg weight category was stronger than the Georgian athlete Lekso Khasay in the final. Azerbaijani boxer won the gold medal by defeating his opponent 5:0 (30:28, 29:28, 30:27, 29:28, 29:27).
