Azerbaijani boxers to take part in Eurasian Cup in Chita

The Eurasian Cup "Dauria" tournament for juniors aged 17-18 commenced today in Chita, as announced by the Russian Boxing Federation.

A total of 150 boxers from 19 countries, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Zimbabwe, Palestine, Libya, Algeria, China, Tunisia, Mongolia, Serbia, Brazil, Thailand, Cuba, and South Africa, will compete.

The Olympic champion, world champion among professionals Alexander Povetkin, Olympic champion Albert Batyrgaziev, European champion Dmitry Dvali, world champion among professionals Alexander Bakhtin, world champion Zinaida Dobrynina are invited as honorary guests of the tournament.

The winners will be awarded 500,000 rubles, silver medalists will receive 200,000 rubles each, while bronze medalists will have 100,000 rubles each. Another 100,000 rubles will be awarded to the winners' coaches.
