Azerbaijani athlete Mammadali Mehdiyev has advanced to quarterfinals of the men’s 90 kg judo event at the Rio Olympics, Trend reports.
In round of 32, Mehdiyev defeated Russia’s Kirill Denisov.
Mehdiyev will face South Korea’s Gwak Dong-han in quarterfinals.
