Azerbaijani judoka won the European Championship among athletes under 23 years old. The competitions were held in Izhevsk.
Rashid Mammadaliev (73 kg) reached the final of the tournament, where he defeated the opponent from Russia, Ayyub Khazhaliyev.
This is the second medal of the Azerbaijani team in the European championship. On the first day of the competition, Nurlan Osmanov (66 kg) won a silver medal.
