Azerbaijani shooter wins bronze medal at Islamic Solidarity Games

Azerbaijan’s shooter Nigar Nasirova has won a bronze medal of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in women’s 10m air pistol competitions, scoring 211.5 points.

Athletes of Iran and Egypt Sebghatollahi Golnoush and Afaf Elhodhod ranked first and second, respectively, in these competitions.

Another Azerbaijani athlete, Zarifa Gasimova, ranked fifth.

The 4th Islamic Solidarity Games are being held in Baku from May 8 to 22. Athletes will compete at 16 sports facilities in 20 types of sports - 17 Olympic and three non-Olympic ones.
