Yesterday a sergeant of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, Elshad Abbaszadeh, was killed in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabkh conflict as a result of armed clashes on the contact line, a message issued by the Defense Ministry press service of Azerbaijan states.
The management of the Ministry expresses its deepest condolences to the families and friends of the deceased.
Abbaszadeh was awarded the medal ‘For Distinction in Military Service’ of the 3rd degree posthumously. The order was signed by the Defense Minister of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, Trend reports.
