Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev has ordered on additional measures concerning the regulation of the entrance examinations to higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, abc.az reports.
Under the order, entrance exams will be paid by the State Budget in accord with the rates fixed by the Tariff (Price) Council for the following categories of citizens who finished general education schools:
- entrants who participate in the entrance exam for secondary vocational schools for the first time;
- entrants who participate in the entrance exam for university Bachelor’s degree (basic stage of medical education) for the first time.
According to the document, within 15 days after completion of document receipt from entrants the State Examination Center is tasked to submit to the Ministry of Finance the list of entrants, whose participation in entrance exams is subject to be paid from the State Budget. The Finance Ministry should provide the payment within 15 days after receipt of the list, and take into account such expenditures in the state budgets of the following years.
