According to Azerbaijani media reports, Russia ranks among the top three preferred countries for Azerbaijani students this academic year.
Turkey leads as the most popular destination, with 478 students from the South Caucasus republic selecting Turkish universities. Hungary ranks second, with 321 Azerbaijani students.
198 Azerbaijani students have gone to study in Russia. Currently, approximately 8,000 Azerbaijani students are studying in Russia.
