Yesterday, in Baku, at the Dalga Arena stadium, a match took place between the football teams of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan within the qualifying matches in League C of the VI round of the UEFA Nations League.
The match ended with an unconditional victory of the Azerbaijani team - 3:0. Thus, the Azerbaijani footballers with 10 points ensured their access to the UEFA Nations League's final stage from the second place in the group. It should be noted that the team of Kazakhstan with 13 points became the winner of the group ahead of schedule.
The team of Kazakhstan did not prevent the home team from winning. The main event of the first half was a red card for Nuraly Alip, the defender of the Kazakhstan national team.
In the second half, the Azerbaijani team scored two goals: Alexey Marochkin in the 66th minute, then Filip Ozobić in the 74th minute. The third goal against the Kazakhs was scored by Anatoly Nuriyev in extra time.
