Azerbaijani team ranks second at World Wrestling Championships

The World Wrestling Championships in Croatia ended with Azerbaijan earning a team silver medal, collecting a total of 89 points.

The team won four medals: one gold, one silver, and two bronze. Iran finished first with 180 points, while Uzbekistan placed third.

The following Azerbaijani wrestlers achieved podium finishes: Ulvi Ganizade (72 kg) won a gold medal, Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg) won silver, Eldyaniz Azizli (55 kg) took a bronze medal, Murad Akhmadiyev (97 kg) also took bronze.
