Azerbaijani gymnast Ilya Grishunin has won a silver medal in men's individual trampoline competition at the World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling in Baku, scoring 59,89 points, Trend reports.
Russia's Ilya Melnik was in the first place with 60,535 points.
Portugal's Diego Abreu was the third with 59,085 points.
The first World Cup in Trampoline and Tumbling of the new Olympic cycle takes place at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on February 18-19. The competition is attended by 85 gymnasts from 15 countries. Their performances are evaluated under the new rules, which came into force in 2017. The qualifications are held on Febraury 18th, the finals will be held on February 19th.
