The athletes from Azerbaijan have won one gold and one silver medal at the World Championship in freestyle wrestling among young people, which takes place in Brazil. This was announced by the Wrestling Federation of Azerbaijan.
The winner of the highest dignity medal became Nurmagomed Hajiyev (96 kg weight category) who defeated a fighter from Iran. The bronze medal in the 50kg category was won by Arif Huseynov who defeated a sportsman from Armenia with the score 4-2, Trend reports
