Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) and one of the Russia's largest aircraft lessors - Ilyushin Finance & Co. (IFC), have signed a memorandum of intent for the supply of Irkut MC-21 planes to Azerbaijan, TASS news agency reported.
The memorandum was signed by Director General of AZAL Jahangir Asgarov and CEO of IFC Alexander Rubtsov.
The first deliveries of the aircraft are scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2018 within the framework of the Irkut Corporation's contract with the Aeroflot (Russian Airlines) PJSC, Trend writes.
