Azerbaijani women’s weightlifter Anastasiya Ibrahimli (69kg) has won a gold medal at the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku, by lifting 219kg.
The Turkmen weightlifter Gulnabat Kadyrova won the golden medal by lifting 214 kg, Kumushkhon Fayzullaeva won the silver medal (Uzbekistan).
The 4th Islamic Solidarity Games are held in Baku from May 8 to 22. Athletes will compete at 16 sports facilities in 20 types of sports - 17 Olympic and three non-Olympic ones.
