Azerbaijan’s mixed team has won a gold medal in the trap event at the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku.
In the finals, Ali Huseyinli and Aydan Jamalova defeated Turkey’s Oguzhan Tuzun and Nihan Gurer, by having scored 43 points.
The Turkish team won the silver medal, while Qatar won the bronze medal.
The 4th Islamic Solidarity Games are held in Baku from May 8 to 22. Athletes will compete at 16 sports facilities in 20 types of sports - 17 Olympic and three non-Olympic ones.
