Azerbaijan’s first President Ayaz Mutalibov has died in Baku at the age of 83, the local agency reported on Sunday.
Leader of the Azerbaijani Social Democratic Party Araz Alizade confirmed reported about Mutalibov’s death.
Ayaz Mutalibov was the only president of the Azerbaijani Soviet Republic and the first President of independent Azerbaijan in 1991-1992.
