BP, as operator of the development of offshore bloc Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli, restarts today one of the main production platforms in the Caspian Sea.
BP Azerbaijan reports that the 12-day program on maintenance work on the East Azeri platform, which began on November 7th, has been completed.
"After lunch, on November 19th, the platform will be put into operation again, and gradually will be brought up to its full capacity," the Company said.
The repair was aimed at ensuring the safety of oil production, Abc.az reports.
