The BRICS summit 2016 will be held in Goa, the Indian authorities said.
"I am glad to announce that the 8th BRICS summit will be held in Goa on October 15-16, 2016," TASS cited the Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj as saying.
It is worth noting that India is chairing the organization this year. The BRICS group includes Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov spoke about a number of BRICS joint projects, which are being developed in accordance with the economic partnership strategy proposed by Russia.
