Bahrain has recalled its ambassador from Iran for consultations in connection with the "hate speech" of Iranian officials.
It was clarified that these statements "reflect Iran's unfriendly attitude towards the Persian Gulf monarchy and interference in its internal affairs."
Bahrain expressed hope for the normalization of relations between the two countries, Tass reports.
