Travel.ru has chosen the three most popular among Russian tourists for traveling to sporting events in the summer of 2016.
According to the service, Paris, Baku and Rio de Janeiro are the Top 3 popular sports cities among Russian fans for traveling this summer.
On June 17-19th Baku is to host European Grand Prix Formula 1. The capital of Azerbaijan for the first time hosts the stage of "Royal Races" to be held on city streets. According to the race organizers, the Russians rank first in attendance among foreign fans of the Grand Prix of Europe in Baku. Over 10,000 foreign fans are expected to visit stage of F1 in Baku. Nico Rosberg of team Mercedes AMG is leading in championship F1 2016 and Russian Daniel Kvyat of team Toro Rosso ranks 10th, abc.az reports.
