Baku and Belgrade expand economic cooperation

Baku hosted the 4th meeting of the joint intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation.

The governments of Azerbaijan and Serbia discussed an air service draft agreement, the Minister of Industry and Economy of Azerbaijan, Shahin Mustafayev, said at the meeting. According to him, this area is one of the priorities for Azerbaijan. The Minister expressed hope for its rapid signing.

"More than 25 documents in various fields were signed between two countries. In particular, the legal framework allows developing relations without any limitations," Interfax-Azerbaijan cited Mustafayev, who is the co-chairman of the commission from the Azerbaijani side, as saying.

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications, Rasim Lyaich, who is co-chairman of the commission from the Serbian side, said that the documents will be signed in 10 different areas.
