Baku and Tehran strengthen their neighborhood policy

The Acting Foreign Minister of Iran, Ali Bagheri Kani, spoke about the development of relations between Tehran and Baku.

He noted that the development of Azerbaijani-Iranian relations was one of the mutual requirements for strengthening the neighborhood policy.

In addition to this, the Acting Foreign Minister of Iran said that he had had a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Samir Sharifov.

Kani called the negotiations constructive and useful. During the talks, the parties recalled the last meeting of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev with the late Iranian leader Ebrahim Raisi.
