The Baku branch of the Moscow State University will hold the geographical dictation 2017 on November 26, 2017 at 12:00 local time.
The scale educational action, the initiator of which is Russian President Vladimir Putin, will be held by the Russian Geographical Society for the third time in all regions of Russia, as well as abroad (Azerbaijan, Argentina, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Great Britain, Norway, Turkey, Montenegro and other countries).
The dictation will include 30 test tasks, divided into three blocks. The first one consists of questions on knowledge of geographical concepts and terms. The second one is aimed at checking the skills to work with the map. The third one – is aimed at determining the geographical objects according to the records of travelers' diaries and excerpts from works of art.
The dictation will be held internally, at specially organized venues, and online on the project's website: dictant.rgo.ru.
The highest score, which can be obtained for the dictation, is 100 points. One must have an identity document to take part in the dictation. The total execution time of a complete test cycle is 45 minutes,
The event will take place at the Lomonosov Moscow State University Baku branch Camp. Baku, Binagadi district, Khoja-Hasan settlement.
