Baku residents and representatives of the Azerbaijani public are laying flowers at the Russian embassy in Azerbaijan as a gesture of condolences over the crash of the Tu-154 plane.
The head of the Russian community of Azerbaijan Mikhail Zabelin, together with members of the community and the chief executive of Narimanov district Abdin Farzaliyev laid flowers at the embassy.
The Russian Embassy to Azerbaijan has lowered national flag to half-mast.
