Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said that Baku is waiting to enhance relations with Tehran after new Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian takes office.
“We are interested in implementing projects previously agreed upon between Azerbaijan and Iran,” Bayramov said.
According to him, the countries are united by history, culture and religion. The diplomat further expressed confidence that Iran and Azerbaijan will increase cooperation in trade, economic, political, cultural and humanitarian areas.
