Baku metro station Sahil is likely to close for capital repairs from 20 August 2017 to July 2018, abc.az reports.
The Baku Metro informs that neither entrance nor exit of the station will operate during the repairs period, and metro trains moving towards metro station Ichari Shahar will pass the Sahil station without stopping on it.
The Sahil station operated since 1967 has never undergone any overhaul.
During the work on the station three escalators LT-3 will be replaced by four escalators ‘Victoria’ manufactured by ThyssenKrupp. Marble and granite veneer and the most important equipment will be replaced on the station. Other work will be conducted there as well.
