Baku to gather Caspian experts

The international authoritative business organization Oliver Kinross informed that the 3rd Week of Oil & Gas of Azerbaijan & Caspian Sea will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baku on September 28-30.

The purpose of the forum is to create a platform for debates of oil and gas corporations, governmental officials, oil and gas experts who will be able to share their views on new business opportunities in the Caspian Sea region. The forum will gather more than 250 delegates and hear over 30 reports from representatives of international companies and analytical groups, abc.az reports.

Among the speakers will be Fuad Ahmadov, the Executive Director of Azerbaijan South Caucasus Pipeline Ltd; Michael Hilmer, one of the Vice-Presidents of E.ON; Magsud Mammadov, TANAP Director of External Relations; Ramin Isayev, SOCAR CEO, and John W. Harkins, President and CEO of Greenfields Petroleum, as well as representatives from Schlumberger, Total and Petronas.

The participants will be able to get information on the latest events in the oil and gas industry, development of oil and gas fields on the shelf of the Caspian region, the prospects for the Shah Deniz field, the new challenges faced by Azerbaijan and the CIS countries in the fuel & energy sector.
