UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will continue to discuss the situation in Ukraine with the heads of state of Russia and Ukraine, the Secretary General announced today at a press conference.
He noted that the UN is involved in resolving the situation in Ukraine. "While we were not involved in the negotiations in the 'Normandy format' directly, we have provided humanitarian assistance as well as constantly discussed this issue with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin. And I will continue my efforts in this direction," gazeta.ru quotes Ban Ki-moon as saying.
