UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon welcomed the agreements between Israel and Turkey on normalization of relations.
At the meeting with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin in Jerusalem, he called them "encouraging signal for stability in the region," France-Presse informs.
"I welcome today's announcement of normalization of relations between Israel and Turkey," he said.
