"The Secretary-General condemns the series of terrorist attacks, including attacks on security forces, in Istanbul and in the south-western provinces, as well as on the US Consulate in Istanbul. He is seriously concerned about the violence," RIA Novosti quoted Ban Ki-moon spokesman Stefan Dyuzharrika as saying.
He added that the UN chief "hopes that the organizers of those attacks will be quickly put on trial."
