Ban on registration of right-hand-drive vehicles to be postponed in Georgia

The law that prohibits registration of right-hand-drive vehicles in Georgia won't come into force on March 1st, as had been previously planned, but much later.

First Deputy Finance and Budget Committee of the Parliament of Georgia Nodar Ebanoidze said that right-hand-drive cars will be outlawed in the second half of the year.

The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Shalva Khutsishvili, noted that it depends on the timing of its review and acceptance by the parliament, Georgia Online reports.
