The Bank of Georgia has issued a Tourist Card/a multi-purpose Visa card to provide comfort to tourists while travelling in Georgia.
Tourists as well as Georgian citizens will be able to use the Tourist Card in public transport such as bus, metro, minibus and rope-way.
The card offers special discounts to holders in café-bars and restaurants of the country, in museums and national parks, in tourism companies, hotels and in souvenir and accessory shops, Agenda.ge reported.
Furthermore, cardholders will receive gifts, which is a sim card and 1,000 MB high speed 4.5G internet from mobile operator - Magti.
The Tourist Card can be taken without needing an ID card. The price of the Tourist Card is 10 GEL (about $4.09).
