The first master class in baton twirling and majorettes in the republic was held in the capital of North Ossetia in the framework of the Russian twirling marathon at the Sports Palace of the North Ossetian State University. It was led by the chairperson of the International Federation of Baton Twirling, Elena Bejar, and majorettes from France.
"This sport can take root in South Ossetia, it is just necessary for people to open their eyes to something new. It may even lead to a revolution of sports in the country," the information agency ‘15th Region’ quotes her as saying.
