Bayramov at UN General Assembly: Azerbaijan enters new era

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke at the Summit of the Future organized at the UN headquarters as part of his participation in the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

The minister noted that Azerbaijan has laid the foundation for the agenda to normalize relations with Armenia, based on mutual recognition and respect for each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He emphasized that Azerbaijan has entered a new era, having restored its rights to sovereignty and territorial integrity, protected by the UN Charter.

Bayramov added that building on the progress achieved during bilateral negotiations, Baku calls for urgent steps to remove the remaining obstacles, emphasizing the importance of demonstrating the necessary political will and responsibility.
