COVID-19 incidence increase was noted for the first time since the end of January in the world. Currently, most cases of infection are detected in South Korea - an average of 400 thousand cases per day, the maximum was recorded on March 17, over 600 thousand cases. In Vietnam, 200 thousand cases of the disease are detected daily.
In addition to this, the incidence is also seriously increasing in European countries. In Germany, an anti-record was set this week since the beginning of the pandemic. About 300 thousand coronavirus cases are detected in the country every day. In France, the incidence has doubled over the past week. The country has about 100 thousand cases per day. In Italy, Austria and Switzerland, the incidence over the past seven days has increased 1.5 times, in the UK, the increase in new cases was 20% over the week.
At the same time, the death rate from coronavirus remains at a low level in the world: about 35 thousand infected people died in the world in a week, most of all in the USA (900 people), Russia (525), Korea (more than 300).
