Belarus PM thanks Russia for evacuating 10 Belarusians from China

Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Rumas has sent a letter of appreciation to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, BelTA learned from the website of the Belarusian government.

“On behalf of the Belarusian government Sergei Rumas expressed sincere gratitude to the Russian Federation for help in evacuating ten Belarusian nationals who wanted to leave Hubei Province of the People's Republic of China in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. The Russian Defense Ministry carried out a special flight on 5 February,” the Belarusian government said.

Sergei Rumas thanked his Russia's counterpart for quarantining the Belarusians at the Gradostroitel medical and rehabilitation center of Tyumen Oblast and creating the necessary conditions for their comfortable stay.

Sergei Rumas noted that Belarus and Russia remain committed to fruitful cooperation, friendship and mutual understanding.
