Belarus has prepared an application to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), special representative for SCO Affairs of the Russian president Bakhtiyor Khakimov said on Tuesday.
According to him, on June 8, the head of the main department of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs made it clear that Minsk would request that the republic be quickly admitted to the SCO, and the proposal to the president to apply was already ready, TASS reported.
