Minsk reserves the right to go to court if Russia refuses to compensate for lost profits due to substandard oil, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Igor Lyashenko said.
"We see, obviously, that in case of failure to reach an agreement the issue will be settled through court," he said.
Igor Lyashenko seriously doubts that Belarus will reach the average annual volume of Russian oil transit of around 50 mln tonnes by the end of this year.
"I understand that Western European plants took (oil during transit suspension) somewhere, which is why I suggest that the transit volume will be smaller than projected," TASS cited the deputy PM as saying.
