Turkmenistan intends to develop gender equality in the country during the next few years. This statement was made by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the summit for global development of the United Nations.
He stressed that gender equality is a key element of the country's global strategy.
"We have set targets to achieve full gender equality and provide opportunities for self-fulfillment for all women and girls. The fulfillment of these goals is our common goal,’’ RIA Novosti cites Berdymukhamedov.
