President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov has appointed Myratgeldi Meredov as the new Minister of Oil and Gas of the country.
The former head of the ministry, Muhammetnur Halylov, by the decision of the head of state has now been appointed as director of the Research Institute of Natural Gas of the State Concern 'Turkmengas'.
In addition, Berdimuhamedov signed a decree approving the structure of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Oil and Gas in order to further improve the activity of institutions that belong to the oil and gas industry of the country.
