According to the Office of the Prime Minister of Turkey, Ahmet Davutoglu has appointed new ministers to the interim government to replace retired members of the pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democracy Party. Beryl Dedeoglu and Junayd Duzyol headed the Ministry for EU Affairs and the Ministry of Development.
Beryl Dedeoglu is a professor at Istanbul's Galatasaray University, working at the Department of International Relations. He is known as an expert on the European Union, working in the Higher Education Council of Turkey. Beryl Dedeoglu contributed to the process of the Kurdish settlement at the level of experts.
